Default Sunvisor Cover Broken

Greetings to all.
So I too have fallen victim to the sun visor cover breaking.
How do I disconnect the light.
I unscrewed the mounting and saw the wire but it semed to not have a plug and it was one piece.
How do I disconnect it?

Thanks
Mike

there should be a connector on it. i have a 98 and there was a connector on mine, newer trucks should have it. you may have to pull the wires out of the roof a little ways to get to it.

both of mine have broken off and i actually got a few hundred dollars off the price of the truck b/c when i went to test drive it, it wouldnt start b/c the light had been on for who knows how long and drained the battery.

if you cant find a connector you can always just cut the wires. or like cliro said, remove the bulb

Thanks both of you. I will look at it again tonight.
I will try to look for the connector again by pulling the wire out.
If not I will takeout the bulb.

If I do remove the bulb does power still go to the line.
I do not want a power drain.

Right now I have a shoe lace holding the lid on.
It seems to work just do not like it. Plus the girl needs to check her make up.
