Default thinking about removing plastic skirts from Jimmy

My 2000 Jimmy 4dr 4wd has body cladding on both doors, front and rear fenders and the rocker panels. Anyone know how these are attached other than the visible screws....? I don't want to create more work right now.

I'd like to rid the truck of these as the stuff that goes into the wheelwell uses up tire clearance.

Also....I know the rear side parts (lower rear quarter panels) will need to be replaced with non-bulging sets. The ones from a blazer should work and all I'd need to do is color-match them. Right...?

Yeah, lots of clips holding the body side mouldings on and probably some for the rocker clips as well.

Well, that kind of sucks. Looks like the cutoff tool and the dremel will get more use....

thanks.

I'm almost positive you'll end with a lot of holes to fill too if you remove them, which means lots of body work..then paint.
