Default Tint Guy?

Anyone know ofa good, realatively cheap tint guy on Long Island-preferably in Suffolk. Ive been getting $100 up to $125 quotes for just my front 2 windows to match the stock tint in the back. And, I think thats just a little too high. Thanks

Come up here to Lansing, that's what you'll be quoted from reputable shops in my area. It sucks.

What do you guys think a faircost for awindshield strip would cost? I'm not sure what I was quoted but I know it seemed high, something like $70.

Also, I might have asked this somewhere else but I cant find out where I did, or if I did. But let me know.

Does the $70 tint come with a lifetime warranty against cracking, peeling, bubbling, and discoloration? If it does then go for it, if it doesn't then I wouldn't bother. Unless it comes with a lifetime warranty, I wouldn't buy any tint.

The $70 is for a lifetime guarantee and I know for a fact the work is high quality.

If it has the guarantee then what do you have to lose? I say go for it, especially if you know the workmanship is quality. $70 is a pretty average price for my area. Some places around here charge in excess of $200 so I say that deal is a steal!

You serious, $200? Is that for a couple a windows or just the windshield?
Where you're at, do yalll have limitations on how far down the windshield you can go? The tint guy was telling me you "cant" go below that line on theends of thewindshield. But he would do it anyway.

Dead serious at $200 for the 2 front windows.....they are very proud of their tint! It is true that you can't legally have tint below the marker on the window, most places will do it though. I wouldn't bother because the hassle of the fine and going to court far outweighs the advantage of having tint a few inches farther down the windshield.
