Tinting tails and ambers, am I off my rocker?
So I would like to tint the tail lights and front amber turn signals of my blazer and really don't want to use the spray on stuff since it is too easy to muck up. I was curious as to if anyone has used regular window tint for this type of mod and how it worked for you guys. If you have tried it, what percentage works the best? Any special prep? Who knows, I may decide to attempt it anyway, but do I have to wait til it is warmer outside? (I live in NW Ohio, and we are sitting at about the mid-50's for highs now) Thanks for the input!
Yeah...I know, but I guess if I can get the same result from the window tint (and be guaranteed an even coat) as to going to the trouble of spraying...don't know, trying to be the most efficient (if that is the word for it)
My corners are done with spray. Pretty easy stuff, did light coats until I got the tint I wanted then clear coated the hell out of it to keep it shiny and looking new.
My tails are done with vinyl tint. I had a shop do them, and they had a preset tint for tail lights. Don't have much to help ya with there but they look great!

Thanks for the replies. I guess I am on the fence on which way to do them now...might just try the window tint and see how it goes? if it doesn't go well I can always peel it off and then get some of the spray I guess
