I had my dash opened up while I was fixing my radio and I noticed this. It looks like it could be a light but I couldn't tell if there was a bulb in it and it sure doesn't light up. It's over the tray that pulls out under the radio. I just can't figure it out.

 

It is the light for that tray.

 

Huh. lol, I must have fiddled with it for 10 mins trying to take it out. It's in there pretty good. I'll have to take another look at it. Thanks Swartlkk

Yeah, like everyone else has stated it connects to your cigarette lighter.

 

If you want toget it out just push on it. To change the bulb you have to take it out of the ashtray mount anyway. Then it just clips in from the bottom. It will light if you turn on your parking lights or headlights.
