Default what is the best wheel paint?

I want to paint my factory 5 spoke wheels black. It's a ZR2 with a lot of black, and I think it would look pretty good. I want to paint the parts that are already painted that silver color, and leave the bare aluminum parts around the outside and middle bare. Just wondering what other people have had luck with. I don't really do any off roading, but i want something that's pretty durable. The winter Iowa roads are pretty hard on them. I knew a guy that painted his with the ceramic engine enamel. It seemed to hold up pretty good. I know companies like dupli color make wheel specific paint. I don't know if it's the same thing, just in a different package to sell more or something. Let me know what you've had luck with.
Thanks

I should add that I am aware of the prepping process. I don't want to do pastidip. I'm looking for a satin finish, not gloss, and not too flat.

Your best bet is plasti-dip even though you dont want that, but it would be what you are looking for, will hold up well in the winter, is a satin finish.

I used bedliner and had good results. The wheels have a little bit of a sand paperish grit to them. Look good though. Tough stuff too.

I used the spray can charcoal wheel paint on some steel wheels I had
It worked really well and was durable

there is a product out there called Black Satin trim paint
It would likely give the appearance your looking for

I used Duplicolor satin black before. I put 3 coats and it turned out nice.
