I have a 95 & 96 Jimmy, the dive trail and engine are done on the 95,the body is really good, the 96 has a good engine frame tranny, but the body is done, my question is , can the bodies be switched by a back yard mechanic and do mounts line up the same, I also know that I would have to swap computers

 

It should be like a more extensive body lift. just undo the body bolts lift it high enough to roll the frame out and roll the other under it I would think
