worked down with 80 then 200

1. self etching primer

2. wheel paint...

3. version 1.0 alum. face not to hot...

4. version 2.0 entire wheel center and alum. face painted


sorry about pic. quality wrapped up late.

will have better ones tomorrow.

Not bad! Good to see what mine are going to look like shortly. I'm going to be doing the entire wheel though. I don't like just the face of it done...but the finished doesn't look too bad. What about some pics of the whole truck with them on?

i will be back with pics for ya.

yeah that first painted trial wasn't doing it for me so i painted center cap and around lugs. to give it a more finished look.

Looks good man, I'd like to see the whole truck to see how they look. I can't wait to paint mine. I think it will look really good with my tinted lights now.

Very nice! Thanks for the pics. It gives me an idea of what mine will look like in a week or so. I'm going to paint my entire rims though, not just the face and inside.

ya, for what little it costs its a nice upgrade....i thought whole wheel, but mine are mounted..daily driver. dont have time to take off all weights and get remounted.
but i am happy about the finished product..

be sure to post yours when finished.

Oh I will. It will be going in my build thread when I do. Mine is my DD too. I only plan on having my truck out of commission for a day or so on the weekend. I'm going to take the rims off the truck (leave it on jacks) and tape off the wheels.

It's a very easy, and very cheap mod. It completely changes the look of the truck too.
