Ok it's finished! From what it looked like before, it's a HUGE improvement.

wow. after i see alot of pics of guys trucks in the midwest and on the east coast, rust is a **** problem for you guys. vehicles here only get like light dusting of surface rust you could remove with a paper bag. glad i dont live in those places. stuff like that is hard to sell around here.

You should see here...my truck is rotting right out. We get a huge amount of rust out here. My roof lights I installed are already rusted. The screws & bolts used to hold them in rusted in 24-48 hours.

The surprising thing about Florida is that we get a bit of a rust issue, too. The humid climate and salty air from the Ocean promote that crap. My truck has some rust under one of the roofrack mounts, and some behind the tailgate. Not much, though, and certainly nothing like what you Northerners get, lol.
