91 s10 to a 96 blazer???

Question 91 s10 to a 96 blazer???

i had a 91 s10 2 wheele drive with a standard 4.3 and i just bought a 96 blazer 4 wheel drive it does not have a motor now but it had a 4.3 vortec can i put my old 4.3 in it even tho it is 2 wheel drive motor?? will they work together right and also would the 4 wheel drive still work please help me ??? thank you

The engines are COMPLETELY different. The '96 truck will not be able to control the '91 engine. You need an engine from a '96+ 4wd. I say 4wd just because of the potential oil pan differences.
