Default Cold air Intake frustration

I'm trying to find a Cold Air Intake for my '93 S10 blazer. It's the 4.3 vortec FI and all I can find is the one for the damn throttle body. I think I heard the 94 cold air intake works but I don't want to buy it just to find out that it doesn't fit. So I'm wondering if this one will fit, and if not does someone know one that will fit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...1%7C240%3A1318

no I don't think it will .. at least without some modification. it is listed for 94-95 S-10 with is the second Gen s-10 so it would also work on the 95 Blazer only as the 95 is an oddball.

Damn that thing is expensive!

As far as intakes go, if you have the CPI motor (throttle body pointing towards the radiator), they are all practically the same, 93-95. The only thing oddball about the 95 is the PCM controls.

And just remember, it is not a cold air intake if it is drawing in hot engine bay air. Fab up a heat shield.

Sorry to bump up an old one, but it sort of applies to my situation.

I've got a 1994 Blazer, and if I go to the K&N site, this isn't listed as compatible (K&N pn 57-3009), but you're saying it should be, swartlkk? When looking at a 94-95 S10, I can't tell from pictures if the oil filter is mounted up behind the headlight, this as well as hood contours make me skeptical of whether this will fit my 94 or not...

I found one on a local craigslist for supercheap, so now I'm curious, thx in advance...

If you have the oil filter up behind the headlight, then that may very well be the reason why it does not list your year. If you can find it for cheap enough, you should be able to mod it to work.

Cool, thx.

After doing some guessing based on box dimensions (they don't list the actual tube dimensions on the site), I believe I can make it work... I WILL make it work! lol
