Have you tried checking out Dynomax? This muffler is louder than stock, will increase the flow, and is budget friendly.

Alot of people hear like the flowmaster supper 44. I just put this one on and like it a lot.
Amazon.com: Flowmaster 952546 Super 40 Muffler - 2.50 Offset IN / 2.50 Center OUT - Aggressive Sound: Automotive Amazon.com: Flowmaster 952546 Super 40 Muffler - 2.50 Offset IN / 2.50 Center OUT - Aggressive Sound: Automotive
deep blub blub blub sound and not ricie sounding. put 2.5 all the way out the back which I think helps with the sound

I`ve used flowmasters in the past on my 81 malibu. If you go on their web site, they have example`s on how each muffler sounds like. They have between 5-20 different mufflers to choose from.Always used Flowmaster, never ever had any problems with them.
