Do you mean for me or you? I'm tryin to make my truck a good hard surface truck, so I'm not worried about mudding personally.

 

Mike, its cool. I dont mind man. I think he means which hood is better for mudding or should he stick with a standard cold air intake.

 

mech cb-personaly i would just go with whatever hood looks best to you as stated before there will be very little if any performance gains, also IMO i think it would be best to stick with a steel hood.

blazen99-i honestly dont see how a hood cowl or otherwise would make a difference while mudding.

 

Yea, I think I'm just gonna do the cowl induction. It will help my hwy mpg while still lookin clean. I just saw RAM AIR and I was like wait a minute!

 

i really like the cowl hood on blazers there just a nice simple mod that looks clean and helps your blazer stand out from the crowd.

 

Exactly-and its not as common, so it works for me! I still have a few other things I'm workin on as well. I just wanna get it so it doesnt look like every other blazer on the road while at the same time not have any non-functional aftermarket parts.

As for blazen_99 i think power with out much forward motion is torque.... i am not at all savy with this sort of thing, but i believe torque is what you want for better "mudding". That and bigger tires
