Hypertech 32500
The hyper tech 32500, So yeah I did search the topic on here, but I want is your reviews on here, will it actually do what it says to a factory blazer and what does it do to a lifted blazer on 31" tires can't seem to find that, $400 where I'm at I want to get more then my money if possible, I'm on 31" with a total 5" lift and 3:42 gears, wondering if I should just suck it up and put in 4:11 gears or pay for the tuner I don't care about the speedometer but proper trans shifts would be nice to go with the final decision because it does not stay in OD long enough for my current usage

3.73 gears prolly be closer. If you put on shorter tires it will stop better and get better gas milage too. It wont stay in OD because you have too much load for the available torque. What year truck?

I haven't used this product specifically but I have used the hypertech power programmer 3. Reading the details on the 32500 model it appears to be the exact same thing but in a different "package". In my experience with the hpp3, I didn't notice much of a power increase at all. It was nice to alter the shift points ( it is preset and you can not set a specific shift point, the new shift points cause it to redline at WOT) and the speedometer calibration for bigger tires worked well (I'm running 31s). Shift firmness was about the same before and after tuning, but these trucks shift somewhat hard normally no matter what you do. Is it worth the $350, IMO I'd say no. Check out eBay or something like that and you could probably find one for cheap. I got mine years back for $100 or so. But like I said, I have an older model. Hope this helped.

I have the Hypertech 32000, and my experience was similar to Iceflame's, with some small differences. I originally had 3.42 gears when I put 31's on the Blazer, and the truck struggled a lot more trying to cruise up hills, and starting out. I put in a ZR2 axle with 3.73 gears and that helped a lot for driveability, but the shifts were still off until I got the Hypertech programmer. I bought it used for $100.
I notices little to no change in power on regular fuel. There was a noticeable change with premium fuel though. The truck has quite a bit more pep when I use premium fuel. I found that programming for the taller tires, different gears, and firmer shift points made quite a difference for me for driveability. Much better than when I had taller tires and the 3.73 gears.

Ok So I decided to buy a programmer due to it fixing my speedometer and shift points, and in the future if I do change the gears it will also allow me to change those specs as well, But Hyper tech only sells a 32500 which I can get for $400, and local online classifieds is selling a older version 30024 for $100 Do any of you know the difference between the 2? Can't find a lot of info on the older one, so far the only difference I see is the older one is not internet upgradeable
