I did it a few days ago. As mentioned before, off-idle throttle response increased, but it seemed like I lost some torque all over. I couldn't even use my G80 where I could before.

Stock blade for me. The modified one is sitting on my dresser.

so would it still do any good to get the ported TB and use the stock blade?

 

If they port the throttle body, then the stock blade may not be big enough to fit the new throttle bore.
