I've got a 2000 blazer 4dr 4x4 and recently I've been turned on to stick So I've been thinking about eventually doing a manual transmission swap. I've read about it on here a bit and there doesn't seem to be any conversation about these electronic transfer cases and manual transmission swaps. Does anyone know if these transfer cases will bolt right up or is there a lot of wiring involved or replacing the transfer case with a manual unit?

I've read that I might need a different driveshaft also. Does that depend on which vehicle I pull it from or what? Thank you. Any replies are appreciated.

My brother did a NV3500 swap on his crew cab S10, and did not require any changes to his NP233 transfer case. He claims it was a fairly straight forward swap, but he did have a complete donor S10 to take parts from. I believe his donor vehicle was the same year as his CC. Not sure if it would be different with the NP236 or not. He didn't swap his driveshaft.

I'd love to swap in a manual transference into my 04... and if only manual locking hubs were an option... that and a Bravada front half-shaft swap, there would never be any doubt if your 4x4 was engaged lol
