you're kinda asking a very open & broad question.
first off, give us a little more info on your truck.
2WD or 4WD? does it have the crappy 2.8 or was it blessed with an early 4-3?
if it's 4WD, you can do an easy lift by doing a t-bar crank & shackles. that'll give you about 1.5" in the fornt, and 2" in the rear.
the list is really endless. do a search (look) through the build section and see what other owners are doing. it'll give some ideas that you can apply to your working budget.
