I have just gotten a 95 blazer and in the end of febuary start of march im going to start to build my 2wd blazer into something awesome its going to be a three step process the first step the engine what can i do for $3000

also what is all involved in swapping to a carburator

Just a guess...

but with the screen name you've chosen I wouldn't expect a whole lot of help.

Just saying...

I would keep fuel injected if it was me. Id eventually like to do a fuel injected 5.3 in mine. I don't remeber who but someone on here has done a 5.3 swap. IMO you get your best bang for your buck going v8 unless you want to retain some fuel milage

i want to keep the 4.3 for now i.d like to stick it into a car sometime in the future but thats aways away i want to build the engine strong now keep it naturally asperated but able to handle the boost just incase

ps i aint a terrorist and contary to what my wife screams in bed i aint god either just a bruce county boy from canada

Debonair 01-13-2011 10:29 AM

so you want to build your 4.3?

GodTheTerrorist 01-14-2011 08:18 AM

yeah i want to build my 4.3 do what i can now. pistons crank valves port the head any other good ideas????? i want to keep it naturally asperated for now but i want it strong enough that it will handle the boost when i decide to do it.

Debonair 01-14-2011 08:24 AM

do you plan on swapping a larger engine in later? or sticking with the 4.3?

GodTheTerrorist 01-15-2011 08:32 AM

havent planned that far at least for the next few years the blazer is going to be powered by the 4.3 i got alot of work to do to the truck plan to have it done over the next three years the first step is to do the engine i want. new internals any suggestions on crank cam pistons connecting rods all of it i want to know what would be my best bet for now but still gain me more power and be stong for when it gets supercharged next year.

Debonair 01-15-2011 09:58 AM

oh okay, i'll ask my friend about the cam, he built a V6 a few years ago. and if you haven't already, i'd suggest getting an exhaust as well

GodTheTerrorist 01-25-2011 09:18 AM

yeah please let me know anout thoughs cams, also anyonbe know where tonget control arms for the front it was previously lowered with just smaller springs but the last guy didnt change the control arms so my camber is way off
