i am trying to decide on a performance chip for my 1998 blazer LT modle v6 engine????

if i were you i would go for a custom pcm tune(pcmforless.com,waitformeperformance.com) or a custom dyno tune. youll get much more bang for your buck from these options when compared to a handheld IMO.

k thanks. One of my friends told me i should get a cold air intake what does that do?? sorry this is my first car.

it allows more air(colder/more dense) to be taken in by your engine. usually adding a CAI will improve throttle response and you may see an increase in mpg's.

o ok. what else would increase my mpg?? i dont care about the horse power much.

a CAI, exhaust, tune, a light right foot, keeping up on general maintance...theres tons of things that will help out your mpg's just use the search function and youll find plently of threads on the subject.

k i will. i have a leak coming from the under the hood it doesnt seem to be afecting anything much just the oil. do u know what it could be???

If you're saying you have an oil leak, it is caused by a leak at a gasket or seal. You will have to find the source of it for yourself. Try to follow the leak from the lowest point upward to the source. If the engine is really dirty you may have to wash it down first and then look for the leak.
