What bulb do you have that is HID. Are they 9005? Yeah, I am not going to get halos. They don't sound as good as clear headlights. Up here in CT, there are alot of roads and highways with no streetlights and I am a frequent traveler to Maine where there are parts with the same problem, but they have deer and moose up there. Oh, and by the way, if anyone knows anyone who is selling stock headlights for cheap, let me know. I need the passenger side one. The bracket on top of the housing is cracked to about 5 peices and I have it being held in by a cable tie. And everytime I hit a bump, the headlight shakes because it's not sturdy.

the thing with them is that they put a flat line across your line of sight, hense reducing visibility...they arent that bright. and yes, in the projector part itself uses a really small bulb. so you would be able to use the High Beam bulb but not your low beam. So i went a bought a set of clear headlights from stylin concepts and installed my HID's in them and I love it.

The reason the projectors do that is to cut the amount of light that bleeds too high, reducing the blinding effect to oncoming traffic. I guess it depends on personal preference as to whether you like the cutoff and focus of the projector lense. You could have fixed it by flipping the projector upside down.Your headlights didn't come with instructions on setting up the projector?
