My opinion about the difference between 2-dr and 4-dr.

2-dr: Sporty and could be lowered to look their best.
4-dr: Rugged and hell of fun to take buddies that you might need their help to dig your truck out of 6-in muddy soup. Unless you have a winch, of course.

Not me, I hate 95% of the people I know, so if I have a 2 dr then less of my friends/gf's friends want to ride with me/us. I refuse to own a 4dr until I have kids.

See, now that's a good way to look at it. lol I, personally, like them both. My hubby wants a 2-dr and he plans to lower it. Which, to us, we think it looks best lowered. Especially the ones with the Xtreme package. But it all depends on the view of the truck's owner and how they like to see these trucks.

Voted....one standed out well because same look I am working towards.

Either way lose or win all five of you have good rides.

I went with a 4dr because as a SUV it looks good. 2dr for me is for cars. Also I need the room as I have two little hellions!

i've said it many times before, but i'll say it again................if it's 2WD, she should be on her knees 'n layin lo. but if it's 4WD, she should be up in the clouds.

but that's just my opinion.

^^ I agree, but there's no way in hell Ranger G or Logan's blaZeR2's would look as good lowered... lowered ZR2 = blasphemy and in sparta you'd be swiftly kicked down a well...

4wd's should typically be lifted or left alone, 2wd's should be slammed, not lifted, unless it's a 2wd pre-runner, that's the only acceptable style of lifted 2wd IMO

Agreed. Reason I have the 4wd and my hubby wants a 2wd. He gets scared on the trails. He's too cautious. lol I know the limits of my truck.

Agree completely.

A guy on S10forum put 2010 Camaro rims on a ZR2 and lowered it and switched it to 2WD.

He was pretty much swiftly kicked down a well.

why would you buy a from the factory lifted truck and want to lower it? plus zr2's are more expensive than regular 2 doors. people just don't make sense...
