thats my rule too
to bad my dad does the driving, heck i could make it in 7 if he let me drive
just because of my mad driving skills navigating toronto...
also if the border is backed up it takes some time. going in to canada isn't bad, its coming back into the states

I don't know about any trails in Schomberg, but its a pretty rural area so I'm sure there are lots.
I went to scout some out today. The first one still had a huge snowbank in front of it and the second was snow-covered. On the way TO the second trail, the dirt road was wet as hell and got my truck sooooo damn dirty. Another few weeks and those trails should be mint for muddin!

i meant you should've mentioned something in there, since it is for all of us around here (in Sounthern Ontario).
i'm currnetly trying to line up some private property to play on. maybe when it gets down to it, i'll ask you & Brad (zedartwo) to come along for a ride through. ya know, kinda "scout the location"
oh, then you'll definately have to give a shout when you're comng down. we'll have to plan a "play day" or something.

I never had a problem either way through the border. Drove right up going in to the states, they did a minor check but nothing too major. Coming back it was busy but went quickly.

we were searched once the many times we've been up there. they went through all of our stuff and made us unload or entire camper. they said it was just a random screening. that took another 2hrs.

What? The guy we had did it right in the booth. opened up the hatch made sure my subs weren't carrying any drugs lol. I was on my way in like 5 mins.

but that wasn't a random search ZR, it was probably just a once over.
2 hours isn't too bad Spectre (for a full search). once when i was 8 or 9, a large group (18 people i think) of my family & some of my parents friends drove down in our bus (old school bus converted into a camper), and as we were about to drive away from the boarder agent, the only person who was asleep on the bus woke up, and as she did she asked where we were.
well, she's Jamaican, but a white Jamaican (born & raised there) and had a strong Jamaican accent (still does). needless to say, this guy asks to see her passport. well, she couldn't find it, and i remember my Dad & her husband looking through the whole bus trying to find it. took almost 7 hours, but they found it-in a carry on bag she put in with her suitcase-on the roof, in the luggage storage compartment!
even since then, i've always made sure that all my s**t is in order-and close @ hand!

yeah, i'll just PM you and Brad when i get the go ahead.
i'm also talking to the owner of a shop in Alliston, he belongs to a Jeep club, apparently there are some sweet trails to the North & West of him.
