Bey guys I thought I would start another thread on a second trip back to the mounds sometime in late Sept or really early Oct.

Also this trip would not be for just blazers. Bring ur friends Jeeps, trucks, Toyota's and anything else that can hit the trails. Same as the last one if you plan on going plan on bringing a dish to pass. Check out the pics of the first gtg an you will see, its a blast.

It really is a blast to go there. I would recommend everyone bringing some heavy duty straps this time. lol. Nothing worse than breaking a strap while out on the trails. Also, if anyone has a wench, it might make things much easier.

I think the best time would be as early as possible. So, mid-late September over early October. It gets chilly mighty fast here in Michigan, so the earliest the better. Also, because they are only open til sunset, the earlier the better due to less sunlight. Also, Saturday seems like the best time to go. If we go on a Sunday, it's bound to be packed with other trucks (Sunday's are truck days).

Count me in! I'll try to get my mini bike up and running and bring it with me. That'll be a blast.

I'm going to try for this one.

I agree on the straps. And for those that don't have a tow point in the rear, these can make things a lot easier--

They're only $31 shipped from amazon and they're a lot easier than trying to wrap the strap around the hitch tube when the truck is already stuck. You just need a 5/8" hitch pin to go with it (less than $5).

Those would be good if you have a hitch. In my case I don't have a hitch. So I wrap a chain around.d the frame. LOL! Hope everyone can make it.

I don't have a hitch either, but I also don't get stuck. I haven't gotten stuck yet (knock on wood).

I have a loan coming in very soon, and I plan on getting some stuff done to my truck. I don't think the front brakes work, because the backs were brand new 3 months ago, and I just had to replace them. So, I'll have to check the calipers and see if they are seized or not. Also, I need to get my gas gauge fixed. It's a grounding issue I'm sure.

Along with getting my truck fixed, I also plan on getting my minibike done. Who knows, maybe I'll let some of you ride it. =)
