NC Blazers

Actually it is the location on the torque/hp curve, not air fuel ratio!
#52
Yeah, What Kyle said ^^^ I couldn't remembr what it was.

I wish i had 3.73's instead of 3.42's im thinkin bout putin 4.11's in but i have to match the front gears to the back so id have to change those 2 and that would run me about 530 without tax and me putin them in. And mine seems to run better at 2000rpms to but at 65 it says at around 1700rpms which i think saves gas.
#54
Yea I looked into 4.10s and it was just way too involved for what I do with the Blazer. Not worth it for me anyway. I just can't wait for my 30x10.50s!!!!
#55
Why are you going 10.5? The tires might look like a little ballish, don't cha think?
#56
Yea i dont have the money for the 4.10's and ive never messed with gears before either. I cant wait till i figure out how to get 33x12.5 to fit under my blazer without using a body lift. I have figured out how to in the back but how to do it in the front without haveing a severly steep angle in my cv axles is just hard.
#57
Why are you so against body lifts?
#58
Nope, not ballish at all. 265/70 is stock size for the Nissan Desert Runner pick-ups. They look real good, Nice wide stance, but they don't look too big for the truck

Compare the 235/75s with 265/70s. Not that much difference, but enough to get wide

Im not really all against body lifts its just that i dont like the gaps it leaves even thought i know i can cover the gaps. Not only that but body lifts dont really get u ground clearence they just let u put bigger tires on and they cant help u ride the trail or mud any better.

Body lifts increase your approach and departure angles, so they help quite a bit with trail riding. As for ground clearence, even the 'suspension' lifts for the blazers leave the differentials in the same spot, so those don't really touch ground clearance either. Body lifts are a very effective form of lifting, for not much money.. just spend some time covering the gaps and repainting the frame rails and youre set
