Hey..did anybody ever show up? I wanted to come but my transfer case locked up last night. it should be fixed by tuesday. let me know if theres plans for another one. I would love to come out nd meet people that like to go wheeling as well

 

You didn't get any of my previous messages? I PMed you yesterday afternoon and again this morning to trade phone numbers, but you never replied. I was up at the park from 10:20 until about 11:45, but I didn't see anyone either. That's exactly why I said it would be a good idea for people to have each other's phone numbers...

I'm back home now. I had a feeling something like this would happen, but I didn't care that much because I needed to take my truck for a good drive anyway. I just Seafoamed the oil and the gas, so it got a good cleaning.

It looks like a few did, but because we didn't know exactly where to meet, and didn't have each other's phone numbers, we never connected. Hopefully this is a lesson learned.

In the future, if you're gonna organize a meet, it would be a good idea to post in the thread for people to submit their phone numbers via PM (NOT in the thread itself, to protect people's privacy). The organizer can then PM the group with the numbers, so that people can communicate offline the day of the event. I would also suggest making the deadline to submit your info at least 48 hours before the event, so that the organizer has enough time to get the info back to the group in a reasonable time.

That's kind of common sense... We do have the social groups that can be created and allows for communication outside of the open forums for things such as this.

im still kinda bummed i couldn't come..saturday was sooo hectic..drove over 150 miles before 8 am lol was up at 5 and had 3 coffee's in me before 6 but the kayaking trip i went on was ok...met some new ppl but the next meet i'll more than likely be coming to. depending on when it is..i just might have my MT tires on by then and my 10 roof baskett lights hooked up lol got 4 big DLLA's and 4 halo lights..and my 2 amber HIDs for back up lights up top.
