RE: S- Series Nationals - In St. Louis
for those who were not there, I surprized people at the event with my latest s10.
Licensing runs 1/2 pass 13.4 at 68 mph, 3/4 pass 10.50 at 127 My full pass the nitrous solenoid failed but the gas didn't and slowed the truck down. http://www.blazinlow.com/forum/attac...p;d=1182220882 video http://www.livevideo.com/video/CF229...?m_tkc=4969661 I am looking forward to getting the bugs worked out of the truck then sticking the roller cammed 383 in place of the current 280Hhydraulic cammed 350. |
RE: S- Series Nationals - In St. Louis
!?!?!?!? That was only a 280 HP 350?
|
RE: S- Series Nationals - In St. Louis
sorry, 280H is the Comp Camscamshaft number. Its got280 degree advertised duration and hydraulic lifters. Nice solid street cam but pretty mild for the drag track.
approx.350-370 horse |
RE: S- Series Nationals - In St. Louis
Nice!
And no, that isn't 280HP, that is a 280H hydraulic cam that is used in the 350. He'll be making the swap to a roller cammed 383 stroker motor. *EDIT* ha, should have known that bigjsp would beat me to it. |
RE: S- Series Nationals - In St. Louis
We figured on playing in super gas / 9.90 class on the motor, maybe a couple times in SuperComp/ 8.90with the nitrous this year.
The 383 is not a user friendly or cheap motor. We stall it 7000 rpmusing a 7" convertor and turnit 9000+. I can build 3 of these 355s for 1 of the 383's. drivers compartment http://www.blazinlow.com/forum/attac...p;d=1182207003 rear view http://www.blazinlow.com/forum/attac...p;d=1182174607 Swartlkk, I may not post often but I am sincere in supporting the threads I post in, :) |
