Awesome burnout.

No. That burnout sucks. You assume all the smoke is from the tires, but if you watch closely, there is smoke that shoots up from the sides of the truck, and thus adding to the smoke from the tires. So, if they didn't screw it up by doing that, it'd be better and more realistic. Just my $0.02.

good point but the smoke shootin up could be from the tires cause of the fast rate of speed they are going and constanst spin so it is an "awsome burnout"

The smoke shooting into the air, is being pushed by the exhaust (which, if you watch close, when the video just starts, you can see a puff of smoke come from just in front of the doors, and shoots backwards and upwards as soon as he tromps on the pedal)
The smoke you see coming from there is the exhaust itself...

Crappy smoke shooting device, lol, it's got a heck of a warm up period.

Awesome video! I've seen competitions like that up in Syracuse at the fairgrounds. Most competitions like this go until the tires burst!
That truck is running open headers with each cylinder exiting behind the front tires... That's what happens when the exhaust is shooting straight up in the air. It will pull the tire smoke right along with it. As the exhaust gases are coming out of the headers, the air around the exhaust gets pulled in the same direction. This is the same principle as firefighters use for forced ventilation by using a fog nozzle through a window.
If it were a smoke generator, don't you think that the smoke would be more dense as it rises up into the air...???
*EDIT* - Having been to competitions exactly like what's shown in the video, I can say with utmost certainty that the footage in the video is exactly the same as what I have seen on similarly setup vehicles.
