I had my buddy shoot my truck with his D300, haha, but it just made my truck look that much more scratched/banged/beaten up, lol

Great pics! Im assuming you did use some RAW post processing/tone mapping?

its called a rig shot. look at the blog section of my website to see a detailed how to on those types of shots. its basically a pole attached to the car with suction cups and the camera attached to the pole. then the pole has to be edited out. while it looks like my blazer is going fast it wasnt even turned on LOL and was rolling down a hill at a walking pace. look at my blog you will see what im saying, theres picture on there.

lots of post process, thats a huge part of photography now. i did multiple exposures and pulled certain parts from one shot to the other. i also edited in all the skies from pictures i had taken in the past.
i made one earlier with that shot but just hadnt uploaded it yet!
there are ways to hide those imperfections
