got a few things done with my truck but been workin nights and finally got some pics. bedlinered it, added some more back up lights, did colum to floor shift conversion and relocated the cb o ya finally tinted the back window lol dont know why gm would have made it an option to have it not tinted.

thanks, gotta put a few things together a little better like the steering colum. to anyone planning on doin that swap make sure the donor truck is very close to the same year or it wont fit very well but im happy with it.

Why the change to the floor shifter? I've always preferred columns because it frees up the center console.

 

I always wondered how difficult the floor shifter would be to do. but it seems like you think it was worth it. I had the opportunity to switch with a trailblazer edition. (same truck I got my seats from) maybe i should have done the swap...

 

its all just a matter of opinion i guess. i got used to it in my old blazer and it drove me nuts to have it on the colum. really not hard at all benedict.just pull the stock one out and follow the cable to the tranny. install is reverse. just a couple of quick conectons. i had it done in a couple of hours lol and you get to brag that its "custom"

 

I've never understood this thing about having the shifter on the steering column.
I think it's great on the floor. Much more comfortable to use. Maybe not with an auto but certainly with manual. I have used the steering one before but like's been said - it's convieniant on the steering. More space for the chicks to sit closer! LOL
