Very Nice Brad! I think what Matt was referring to about your licence plates was the fact that dirt gets up in between the covers and the plates and sticks out like a sore thumb. I know because my plate was muddy for the better part of a year lol, and I was my truck constantly. I finally just too my plate off, washed it and put it back on.
BTW -I think you need to ditch the fugly ZR2 decal and debadge too.

How do you like those Sport Kings and how much were they? How's the traction and treadwear? I've been trying to find a local supplier around here and haven't had much luck.

Sisk, Your definitely right about it getting up under, but I keep a close eye on it. The back cover has weird glare on it all the time. Its completely clean but its just a bad mold or something.

TripleBlackBlazer, The tires are nice! Have yet to test them in mud of any sort (as of yet). I have no idea how much they were because it was sold to me with them brand new. The tread-ware isn't bad at all. I have only had them since Sept. And they still seem to be in like new condition, considering I noticed yesterday that my alignment is WAY off and so is my camber. Good thing my uncle owns an alignment shop! But no abnormal ware at all.

Rogue & Sisk, I don't know why but I like it better with the badges. And I like the ZR2 sticker.

Always liked the ZR2 decal myself.

But ever since they started using double sided tape instead of speed nuts on body badges all mine have come off of just about every vehicle I`v ever owned.

it's called "being different", and is the philosophy behind my brother's Dime. everyone shaves the handles/locks and puts on really tiny side mirrors on the 1st gen Dimes. but not when we built his truck, and now that's what stands out on his truck @ shows-and gets noticed by the judges.

be your own Brad.

(Alex & Rouge, i know you guys are probably gonna come back on me for that one)

that's funny, 'cause every older bolt on style of badging i've ever had, has always rattled loose on me-in fact i had the driver's side "Swinger" script fall off on my Dart, while i was driving on the highway one day!

and while i've had that rattle issue with the older ones, i've never had the "newer" stick on ones come loose on me. guess it's just my luck.

Hey lookin good. Can't wait to get mine painted all black this summer. How are those sport kings treating you? I wanted those instead of the goodyears I got, but the shop that had them were a heavy equipment shop that would only do fleet vehicles. (weird)

Edit: Sorry didn't read post completly about the tire opinion before posting.

Tell me about it! My luck (like yesterday) is I wash the truck & then it rains overnight or the next day.

That's a nice Jimmy.

Why lift all that paving? If you were nearby I'd be around with a trailer to pick 'em up!
Our drive is in serious need of remedials. Concrete is 30 years old & boat parking area has yet to be paved - most likely brick this time.

My dad owns a Landscape company and likes to have our house as sort of a show off piece lol. Its also very rutted so we have to pull it up anyways, so why not update.

We have a lot of people do that. The spot where my dad dumps it all is one of his good friend's. He has a complete driveway, walk-way, back landing, and pathway just from the stuff we dump. It may be a pain to dig through but its all free!

For a nominal fee (plane tickets and accommodation), we could come do your place! lol
