hey im trying to do mine now but my abs is in the way.. have any excperiance on removing it? i got to get a lower windshield resevior.


Looks good and love that green

the only thing that i had to change was the coolant resevior. i got a nice chrome one and mounted it on the firewall where all the heating/a/c stuff was. i took all that out since i only drive it in the summer time.

and i havent had to really do much stuff on the engine since i did, but i think it makes it easier to do stuff. less the water pump goes or something close to the front, then off comes the hood

Looks good on that 1st gen! Nice work!

I used to work on a late-80s Buick LeSabre that my great grandfather drove. That had the suicide hood standard and was a royal pain to do anything on the front of the motor! I ended up getting pretty darn good at removing the hood by myself. That car had a lot of problems with the front exhaust manifold gasket letting go.
