The most cracked out, pain in the a**, man who "knows everything about cars because i've been working on them for 20 years in my grand daddy's barn"

You watch how you talk about my family MTopper!...
joking man. I actually kinda liked that one you posted
I don't agree with doing that kinda 4x4 thing with a gorgous classic muscle car like that unless;
You can't restore it to factory or build it up muscle car style. That is a last option. Cars on 4x4 bodies only look good IMO when they are all muddy and beat to hell. Cause a flawless car body on a 4x4 frame looks odd. Where as a tore up dented rusted muddy car in the mud bog looks kinda cool.
Although I completly dissaprove of the 64 Impala posted a while back. That is practicly my dream lowrider car. I'm open minded on custom autos. But if a late 50-mid/late 60's impala is used for anything besides a lowrider or muscle car, I'm just dissapointed.

well then you would have loved my grandma's she had. She had a 1963 gold Chevy impala.. my grandpa was a car man. cadillacs, stutz bearcat, dusenberg, and a bunch of other amazing cars.
He only had a truck during the depression when he did repos haha...
Back to the thread, there are days like today where i wish i had 4x4.. i was in detroit and the only way to get to a cool little area is through the tall grasses and ruts.. well, i made it but it was a lot of rocking, angled climbs and such.. i still love my 4x2 though

Same with my Grandpa MTop. I'd miss car audio and modern advancements, but I would love to live in those glorious auto days, even if just for a few years. I walk through salvage yards and see these gems of the past and just wonder and imagine what driving them was like. I know there was hard times with them like the gas rations and the such. But still to see 57 bel airs and studabakers and roadrunners on the roads would be awesome.
back on the subject of 4x4 cars...

And I think one of my favs I've seen. A geo metro with mix-match 18 wheeler wheels! lol

There I contributed.
