Good on ya! You found a MUCH cheaper way to have a good time at the fair!

Besides camera costs ect.

 

The only thing that makes me a little timid about going to take pictures like this is getting weird looks with the tripod out... mind you I could be over-reacting and overly self conscious (if that's the right word).

Do you use a slower shutter speed and larger aperture for these? I purchased a DSLR camera and would like to get into photography just as a side hobby. (Actually I'm taking a class this year at school).
