So far, in sub 0*C temps, if I baby the truck, I can squeeze at least 250 miles out of a tank, which is about 13MPG, which I think is pretty good, I could probably do better if I didn't have to let my CD player warm up and stop screeching...

Later on this month, I'll be taking a highway trip, so I'll see what my highway mileage is like... And I just hyperteched myself for the 87 octane setting, so I'll get to see if that helps my mileage any... It should, I can run in 5th gear @ 50km/h which is like 1000rpm and the engine no longer lugs...

I think mine had Uniroyals[sm=boosign.gif] when it was new. 235/70R15?
They were terrible. Esp w/ my driving habits.[sm=gears.gif][sm=lildevil.gif]

Are you sure you are calculating ur gas right. I get about 200-220 miles to a tank and I get like 16-19 MPG. You are taking how many miles you drove on that tank of gas and dividing that number by how much fuel it took to fill the tank correct?

Nope, I've got 235/75 R15's, just like my door sticker...

Maybe somethings getting messed up in the conversion from litres to gallons, lol. According to the dealership window sticker, it should get 342 miles to the tank, in city driving, which is 18MPG

I think I'm gonna start recording mileage and fuel in a book again, lol.

My math runs like this: 250/19 = 13.15 MPG

My Blazer does about 250 miles when the light turns on then I fill up shortly after and I almost always get 14. And this is Miles Per Gallon. Im sure when it gets warmer I will get better.

I'm pretty sure I have a 19 gallon tank but either way...
I too wait until almost empty and then fill up and keep track on my trip odometer (as my gas gauge isn't all that reliable). I put 17-18 gallons in when I hit the 325-350 mile mark which figures out to be around 19 mpg. This is driving up and down 'mountains' in central PA. Highway (from Lancaster, PA to Altoona, PA on PA turnpike with cruise set at 75) averages about 21-23 mpg.

Do I have a miracle truck or am I just a little easier on the gas pedal than my comrads?

Probably just a little easier on the pedal, lol, and unless GM changed things up, you should have a 19 gallon tank as well...
