turned out to be a wheel fire from the looks of it his caliper got stuck and lit the cv boot rubber causing the truck to go in flames
the rotor was grinded badly the other side was fine
He did drive 4 hours that day and it went up in flames 5 miles away from home

Insurance gave him an 18.5 offer but he didn't take it
there just low balling him

yes the truck is a diesel

At least there is some truck left, when my moms car went up there was nothing left. You could see through the trunk all the way to the firewall.
