Thanks everyone. This forums really helped me in learning more about my blazer. Didn't really know a whole lot about it when I bought it, just that I liked it. I don't really have any plans to do any mods to it, however I would like to get some fog lights. I want to mount them were the tow hooks are, but I haven't decide on what kind I want or how I'm going to mount them there. Any suggestions....

Just fab yourself some sort of mounting bracket for them that slides right in where the tow hooks were/are. You can use the bolt holes from the tow hooks to mount to the frame. If you do it right you might even be able to keep your tow hooks along with having the light bracket there.
Something like this is what I'm thinking (excuse my excellent paint skillz lol):

The green is your 2 bolts going into the frame (where your tow hooks mount in) and the red if your fog light on the front with the mounting bolt going through the bracket. Hope that makes sense?

And Chris, we have a few yellow ones around here. I saw a fugly one at the mall the other day. Bright yellow ZR2 with fugly decals on the side that were checkered and had a bee on it. The rear fender said "Bee edition". I never understood why GM loved to do those really really fugly decals on the sides of all their vehicles lol.

Just mount them to your lower valence. That's where everybody here has them and the work just fine. If you put them above the tow hooks, they will be more protected.

Thanks for the idea, the paint skills are pretty good imo. That's kinda along the line I was thinking to. I want to mount them using the bolts from the tow hooks. I think there's gonna be alot of cardboard mock ups before I come to something I like.

PS. When I bought this ZR2, the previous owner had thought it would be a good idea to put silver flames down the side of the truck. Needless to say, they were ripped off that week. Also removed mud flaps and chrome step bars. I just like a clean looking vehicle, but I do like the look of fog lights for sure. Especially PIAA. but not sure if I can make 4" or 5" round look right, that's what I gotta work on before purchase, probably will be going with something smaller.

but that "Bee edition" decal, it's probably a take on a newer Ram. did it have the "Scat Pack" bee on it?

Both of your vehicle is very good looking, the Blazer looks outstanding in yellow and who will turn down a black stang?
