No, you are thinking of the Chevelle:

^mine^

The '69 El Camino did have a rectangular marker light on the quarter panel near the tail light housing, but nothing like what the Chevelle had.

Yeah, Dad had a 70SS when I was a teenager. He totaled it and that motor ended up in my first truck. 1961 GMC 1ton 4WD brush truck from the fire dept at the county auction. ANYWAY lol. Yeah. I thought the design stayed closer to the chevelles, thats why I was looking for those things. Plus the trim and black center on the tailgate was a 69 chevelle thing. So what you said makes sense , with all of those design ques being there from 68-72.

i kinda like the challengers, i actually saw a hennesey version of it. not sure what that is, but i guessing like the performance racing version?

Hennesey is a company (kind of like Shelby) that specializes in taking factory production cars and squeezing ridiculous power out of them... Check out their site. They have up to 1000hp packages for your C6 vette... Probably costs the same as a new C6 too...
