Default Picked up a '99 ZR2

I bought this '99 ZR2 for $2250 with 260k kilometers to replace an '01 non-ZR2 that had bad engine bearings, almost no oil pressure when warmed, head gasket problems, and injectors were failing.

It did not have the chrome bumper or nerf bars, I swapped them over from the '01. The '01 will be a parts vehicle for what I've put into it and then it will be junked for cash.

I have several new parts on the '01 that I'll be taking off before sending it to the wreckers:

Delphi MFI spider injector (still in box, bought to keep the '01 alive, but will put into the '99 if I have problems with stock injectors), Starter, Alternator, Radiator, Heater Core, 4x4 actuator, Delphi Fuel Pump

Here is the dead/dying '01

I'll be keeping the wheels as I believe they are stock ZR2 style? Just don't want to pay to have the ZR2 tires swapped over right now.

There isn't any difference between ZR2 wheels and non-ZR2 wheels. It makes me sad when I see ZR2's with small tires lol

Yeah, ZR2's with puny tires is kinda wrong. I'm so used to 31's or 32's on my Blazer that I forget sometimes how much smaller the stock size tires are on the regular Blazers.

I'll be changing them out mid-next year for bigger, Goodrich A/T's, these ones came with the Blazer brand new so it's good enough for now and I've never been able to afford brand new tires haha. But I agree with you guys.

Also, were nerf bars and brush guards an option from the dealer for ZR2's? I swear, every ZR2 I see has both, but this one didn't.

Lots of Dealers offered nerf bars and brush guards as dealer installed accessories.
