Florida has had it's share of snow too, ya know. but yeah, wind chill can be a bitch.

you need what i have, a 250W halogen flood lamp (that's the little one, about 5" X 3")

used that when i had to do the head gaskets on my '92 Jimmy-the last week of January (many, many moons ago though). it was like -30*C (without the wind). a blue tarp around the front of the truck, and it was like being in a fishing hut. but without the smell of fish.

Ill have to remember that for this winter.
