I'm guessing you didn't get stuck? lol. That looks like some deep stuff for a stock blazer.

Just giving you crap.

Nice Blazer though.
I agree, my Blazer looks like that at the end of my driveway.

Here's a couple of my Blazer posing for a pic. I don't get many off-road pics since I'm usually driving.

Sorry, just going back the the previous page & all the comments. It almost looks like the thread title changed into a debate lol.
IFS blazers have advantages over solid axles depending on the situations. One person said that a blazer is a on road vehicle that has the ability to go off road occasionally - or something like that. True, same can be said for a jeep or a solid front axle vehicle. IFS has better road manners & a solid axle has more durability off road & more choices for upgrades. Look at Baja runners & rock/hill climbers.
Personally, like Jamaroon I like my blazers IFS & haven't had many issues keeping up with a lot of other vehicles. That again depends on the driver & their ability or lack of lol. One thing I'd love to change is have a selectable locker up front. Jamaroon just got a ECTED locker for the rear which is an electric selectable locker. Unlike our G80's which need slip to engage his will be a limited slip until he throws a switch & then it's locked. Very nice!
2dr vs 4dr ehhhh depends where & what you're doing. Some like/need the extra doors for kids or gear or it's just easier. Some like the 2dr for the look or shorter wheelbase etc.

It's all a matter of opinion, talent & just why you have what you have. Any vehicle can be great for any individual depending on their wants & needs & capabilities.

haha. rotti makes a good point. some people say IFS trucks arent any good offroad and i just realized that all the baja trophy trucks and all them are independent front suspension. lol. but they are modified to have like some 25in of travel or some outrageous amount.

TY & true, same with rock crawlers, mudders, extreme off roaders with the solid front axles. Look at some rock crawlers, HUGE amounts of articulation, purpose built & as for the Baja trucks... yeah I'd launch my blazer off a sand hill at 100mph with a 10' drop & drive on like it's a walk in the park. NOT lol

The issue we have (without company/financial endorsements) is well, don't have that! We have limited amounts of travel unless we have more money than brains or have a sponser to build it up to an honestly, not a street vehicle. Same with a solid front suspension, although they do have more possibilities.
But for "Joe Regular" or "Joe Enhancences a Bit" our vehicles do well off road (depending on the driver & enhancements).
We're only limited to the money & effort as like every other 4x4 out there.
Full body on frame does help blazers as it does jeeps & that does make a difference when compared to a hyundai, or toyota etc. Uni-body is the true road vehicle that may play off road. At least all of ours (blazers & jeeps) have a full frame - trust me, it makes a difference.

<edit> that's my $0.02 - got change?
