Can you explain those rear 'brakes' for me?

1. They are huge. (For rears anyway.)
2. I don't see any calipers.

Just for looks, or?

He can do whatever he wants to his truck, it is HIS truck. Just because it is not your style, doesn't mean he can't /shouldn't do it.

He's running a solid front axle from a Jeep, and swapped the rear to a 8.8

Jeeps have a different bolt pattern
