Looking at
painting the rims
flowmaster muff
1.5" tbar crank
1.5" rear shackles
1.5" rear wheel spacers

I'm working on putting together an off-road package right now...electric winch, recovery strap, fence post driver, mini shovel

All off-road stuff, not Xtreme like you. I can't wait to see your truck when you finish. Be sure and post progress pictures as you work on it.

Only if you get caught But seriously if you have emissions or inspections, I would not remove it. If not I say go for it. Replacing the cat with another one is expensive. A straight pipe is cheap!

I would not recommend you giving someone advice to break the law.

Just because something is expensive does not make it legal or illegal.

And let me tell you, you most definitely have emissions on your truck. Emission control started on vehicles dated 1975 and on.

The EPA and CARB monitor and enforce the federal laws put in place to keep the air cleaner. One of those laws is the use of a catalytic converter on internal combustion engines...ie your truck or car.

Driving a vehicle that uses an internal combustion engine on public roadways withOUT a catalytic converter is a federal offense resulting in a hefty fine. Trust me, the fine will cost you more than the cat.

Please do not use public forums such as this one to tell others to break the law. If you wish to do so yourself, that is your choice, but do not advise others to do so.
