Thanks guys. Looking at the pics here on my work computer that has an LCD monitor they look a lot different. I have to say that last one turned out a lot better then I thought it did!

Wow, very nice pics!
My mother did an oil painting of Peggys Cove years back. Pretty sure it was of that lighthouse.

That's the only one there...so if it was Peggy's Cove that was definitely the one.

Nice pics. I miss the ocean and living on the beach. Im from Hawaii and lived in Okinawa for a few years. Then I moved to Kansas and being here made me realize how much the beach and ocean has an affect on me. How relaxing and stress it relieved. Man I want to go back...

Yeah, I know how you feel. I had the opportunity to move to Calgary (which is inland), but didn't do it because I don't think I could ever not live on the coast.

I love living on the other coast now that we moved here. I try to take my kids out fishing once a week. This is what we eat as often as possible.
Middle daughters first trap pull of her life, thats the most crabs ever caught on one of these small traps.

3 Red Rocks and 2 Dungeoness crabs. That Red Rock on the top left had HUGE claws on it and was about 2 inches over the limit. Very large crab.

Youngest daughters first ever crab trap pull. Thats the biggest Red Rock Crab we have ever seen, and a weird starfish, she is the only one that can manage to get starfish in the crab traps. Shes gotten quite a few now.

This is where we like to go crabbing, its 30 minutes from our home. White Rock is a very nice little town.

My friends own a Trout farm, they are tasty!!!

5 minutes south of me is the border. Thats 0 ave in Langley BC, canada, and boundary road in the USA.

There is a TON of eagles living around here, this one was nice enough to sit around so I could get his photo, I was amazed to get this close to him/her. I saw 8 eagles mating in the spring time and the males were "Whirling" to compete for her affection, I could not find the camera to get a shot though, and thats too bad because it is an amazing sight to behold.

I climbed my first mountain. According to my GPS I climbed 4400 feet above sea level, this is looking south to Mount Baker in Washington.

This is from the same spot looking west out over the Fraser Valley BC, thats Chiliwack closest, then Abbotsford to the left, and Mission to the right, and that is mount Sumas in the background in front of the mighty Fraser River. Yes those a pink straps on that Barbie backpack, I only have 3 daughters, so when I have to borrow a backpack I dont get much choice in color LOL

Here is me illegally entering the USA when out with my Cub Scout pack. The other side of that post says UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Yes I know I tore my pants crotch while goofing around with the kids.

A well hung cedar tree that I encountered... the trunk itself is about a meter in diameter, and that big **** branch is about 15 inches in diameter.

Our pet hog eating his supper on the deck. Name is BACON, he is about 120 pounds in this photo, hes about 150 now. Its a vietnamese potbelly, he will get to about 250 max. He has many tricks and asks to go outside like a dog, except Bacon learned to ask in 2 days. Hes only had one accident in the house when he was a baby, he was about the size of a football when we got him. Pigs are VERY smart. He wears a cape on halloween with his super booties. We had him neutered and his tusks were surgically removed. He is very loving and friendly and makes an awesome pet. Hes getting quite hard to lift up into the back of the blazer to go for car rides so i made a small ramp that he can walk up and down. This guy can stand a pee for 5 minutes in the morning, must be able to hold more than a gallon. He has a blanket that he drags around to by the radiant heater where he sleeps.

Hope you enjoyed the photos of around my neck of the woods, I live in the Fraser Valley about an hour east of Vancouver Canada.
