Why I Need New Rotors
Yup that'll do it.
Now... That's something my sister would do! She had both her front rotors on her GrandAm (POS-car) down through the outer pad surface, into the vents on the inside of each front rotor. The pins stuck and she just kept on a drivin'!
Ever heard of routine brake checks? And no... I don't mean the ones where you slam on the brakes and watch your friends fly towards the windshield.

on my first gen i forgot the brakes were absolutely horrible before I parked it. THen a later, I drove it out to the farm and some jack*** cut me off and I locked em up, I actually had Rotor chunks spraying out. Was almost 1/4 inch grooves in the thing. OOPS!!
thats custom and you know it!

that adds 40hp. I also needed to replace my blinker fluid i had a 25hp lose from old blinker fluid.
checked my VTEC fluid that was fine for abit longer. It's running lean tho [8D]

My first car was a 1971 Mustang Convertible with 4-wheel drum brakes. Yes, I said 4-wheel drum brakes. Brakes work OK so I did not bother to check them when I got it. About 3 months later I was bored one day and decited to check 'em out. The two rears were worn past the rivits and I had two nice 1/8 inch deep groves in the drums.
I replaced all of the drums and pads and hey, my parking braked started to work.
I feel your pain man.

yea dont forget to put grease on the face of your brake pads and the rotor--you dont want your brakes to squeek (lol its been done) oh and if you're looking for a little more power i hear using lots of green 100mph tape under the hood does wonders
