Default 1997 chevy blazer front end squeaking

Hi My front end just started to squeak in the front end . I can hear it more when I move the shock tower . It sounds like its from the front shock tower . Im not sure . where are the bolts for the shock towers on top . are they under the anti lock brake unit .

I had this same problem. Turned out the lower ball joints just needed greased

last week we had a storm and i had to drive in 12-14'' of water and a couple days later a squeak appeared. i grease all ball joints, inner/outer tie rods, pitman and idler arms, gave a shoot of lubricant on the stab bar bushings and the noise is gone.

Yeah I just greased the front end grease fitting . There was one zerk fitting i could not grease , I may need to pull the wheel from the right side of the truck . At one point the ball joints were changed there not from the factory . I get a poping sound sometimes when I turn the wheel on it .

A little WD-40 works wonders on squeaks on a car ot truck . I need to make sure the front end is ok .

you may just need to turn the wheel in order to get to it. i could get to all of mine just by turning the wheel in different positions

No that wont work the zerk fitting is right by the mounting bolt and I cant get the grease gun in there . Im going to have to take off the wheel to turn the zerk fitting to get some grease in it .

Go to an auto parts store or even Sears and get a needle adapter for the grease gun. I had the same issue
