I'm assuming that you have the 3-Button switch (NP233). With that being said. Will it shift into 4Lo? Are you getting front axle engagement? What all have you tried so far? More information is definitely needed

it will not go into 4lo and no the axle is not engaging i tried taking the fuse out that goes to the tccm and turned the ignition on and off 5 times but that did not help either. is there anything else i can do?

How do you know it is not going into 4WD? Does the switch not light up? Does the front Drive Shaft spin after you the 4WD Switch?

yes after to push the switch and it lights up the front axle spins freely i replaced the cable and also the actuator the blazer was involved in minor front end crash and thats why i had to replace the actuator do you have to adjust the 4wd cable some how?

So what happens when you press the 4HI button? Does the 4HI light blink and then it returns to 2HI? This condition could be caused by a problem with the encoder motor (either the encoder sensor itself or the gears inside the motor assembly) or connection problems at either the TCCM or encoder motor.

Have you checked/cleaned the TCCM connector? How about the connector(s) on the encoder motor located on the transfer case?

the 4 wd hi light stays lit but it will not engage the front axle we replaced the actuator and alo the 4wd cable. i did notice that the bracket that holds the actuator on was bent i tried to straighten it but maybe i did not do it enough could that actually cause the actuator to not pull cable enough to engage 4x4?

When you push 4Hi, does the actuator pull the cable?

yes it did i replaced the cable and actuator i did notice that the bracket that holds the actuator on was bent the blazer was in accident with front end so maybe i need to straighten the bracket more then maybe it would pull more on cable? the light on dash lights upand you can hear it click when you push button but front axle will not engage
