2000 blazer 4wd problems
Hoping to get some help with this. I've got a 2000 blazer with the 4 button 4wd. Its been stuck in 4lo for quite some time now. Ive replaced the motor on the transfer case, checked the vacuum diaphragm under the battery, replaced the tccm and just replaced the vacuum solenoid on the firewall under the hood. (note none of these parts are new, came off of parts truck and junkyard). But it's stuck in 4lo. I can get it to go into 2hi but then it switches back to 4lo by itself again. Right now its in 2hi because i unplugged the tccm before it went back. I've tried disconnecting the battery and that didn't work either. I know that the original motor on the transfer case was bad because it had a bad gasket so water gotten between the two surfaces and pushed the metal on the motor into the gears. I have no idea what else to do for it. If it wasn't for me putting a couple hundred $$ into replacing the engine i'd just scrap it and buy another vehicle but i'd really like to get this working. If anyone has any ideas on what to do it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if i have the tccm disconnected with it in 2hi can i drive it like that? With it disconnected it cant go into 4wd right? Well if anyone can help it would be great. Thanks! p.s. first time using this so idk if i did everything right to post this
