2000 jimmy not shifting right after new tccm
Hey, I have 2000 jimmy 4 button 4wd switch. I had a bad tccm so replaced it with a ramanufactured one. I believe the old tccm had a bad ground which from what i see it looks like is grounded through the mounting bracket and it also made warning lights come on and certain guages stop working. Now after replacing tccm, lights are back to normal and I can get it to shift into 4wd but when I start to drive down the road, no matter if your in 2wd or 4wd it doesn't shift right. Almost goes into overdrive or a limp mode. If I manually shift going from 1, 2 ,3 and then D, it shifts fine. But starting in D is when it happens. If I pull the 4wd fuse, cutting power to tccm it drives fine. I'm not sure if I need to have it reprogrammed or not. Any help would be appreciated
Hi, I also have a 2000 Jimmy 4 button, my service 4wd light do not appear at ignition, and the awd/2wd/4x4/4lo lights do not turn on, on any of the 8 New selector switches I have tried. Have replaced vacuum lines, vacuum actuator, vacuum selenoid, 4wd indicator switch (with Dorman 600-504), took out the driveshaft, thinking of replacing the encoder motor/actuator next, then Tccm if that doesn’t turn the lights on.
