Default 2WD Only Suspension Question

My Blazer has the slot holes drilled for torsion bars. However they are not there, is there anyway i can purchase T-bars, and can i use it to lift my 4x2 a little bit? Since there are no cv's to stress out?

Do not even consider gong to a torsion bar setup. There should be pre-runner style lifts available for a 2wd. You just have to find them. It will likely combine new control arms with longer springs and a new steering knuckle with a lift built into it. Probably will not be cheap, but...

i saw a synergy Offroad kit 6in lift. I would want to lift my truck 5-6" with 33 or 35's. is this possible with 2wd
Why would there be torsion bar slot in the 2wd frame anyway?

Much cheaper for GM to produce only 2 frames for the S series (ZR2 is a different from non-Z frames) than to produce 3 different frames.

Your best bet is to look into the pre-runner lifts.
