4 wheel drive not working

4 wheel drive not working
I'm a soon to be owner of a 94 blazer S10 and the 4 wheel drive doesn't work , however when you hit the switch you can hear it engage it just doesn't seem like there is power getting to the front wheels. What do you think could be the problem?
